Despite the name, back then we would quizzically say: why didn’t people call it tsinelas-lata when you actually use your slippers to hit the can? But I guess the name stuck and up to now, kids there still call it “bato-lata.”  Love the dynamism on this one. It’s good that some kids still play traditional games like this one. Rarely would you see them go out these days.
